To be Lebanon's leading Federation and strongest Union in the region.
About Lebanon Rugby
Lebanon Rugby officially formed in 2009. Since then, the Federation has become the governing body for all rugby union activity, registered with the Ministry of Youth and Sport. In 2018 Lebanon Rugby qualified for Associate Membership of World Rugby and is well on its way to full membership. We’re growing. Fast.
Yet, as a Federation we struggle with resources. While a country such as Japan has an annual budget in the millions, we work with next to no funds, limiting our ability to reach schools, towns and cities in Lebanon and ultimately reach our vision of becoming the leading sports federation in Lebanon and the strongest union in the region.
I am excited about this partnership with Friends of Lebanon Rugby and the initiatives put in place with the Lebanon Rugby Social Impact Fund. Our initial campaign, the Lebanon Rugby Disaster Fund, proved to be a huge success and we were humbled by the support from the wider rugby community. We hope to continue supporting the Lebanese community through this partnership, and also give back to rugby in Lebanon.
